About Rowanricht
Rowanricht is a space of remembering. A haven for women who are tired of overgiving, overstretching, and overperforming in a world that asks for too much and offers too little in return.
We gather. We craft. We remember.
My Story
Artist & rewilding mentor,
Northeast Scotland
For years, I carried the weight of never enough. Generational patterns of overfunctioning and self-sacrifice ran deep.
I always felt a deep sense of longing — but for a place or thing I couldn't name. I thought perhaps I was simply not made for this world. I didn't really belong anywhere.
And then my first child arrived, and with him came my initiation into the natural world.
The long days outside — feeding ducks at dawn, puddle jumping, mud painting, tree climbing — became our medicine. Piece by piece, the land began to stitch me back together. It gave me what I was so hungry for: connection.
I started small. Foraging a handful of food. Marking the turning of the seasons. Walking barefoot on the earth. Making little pieces of art with what I found.
Later, I studied herbal medicine, holistic healthcare, forest bathing. Taking responsibility for my own wellbeing. Each step drew me closer to the rhythms of the earth. And with every step, I felt more rooted in something that had always been mine.
For the first time in years, I felt my cup filling again. Just from being in relationship with the land.
So I began to explore the parts of myself I had pushed aside in survival mode. I picked up the threads of traditional craft, natural textiles, primitive skills. I wandered into folklore and myth. And through all of it, I found something I had been missing my whole life.
Belonging.
I realised I was never truly alone. The land was with me. The ancestors were with me. The unseen too. Offering wonder and magick in the very moments when I couldn't find it for myself.
Almost two decades on, my connection with the land continues to evolve. Nature has taught me to:
But above all, it gave me belonging. A sense of home, connection, and love greater than any other.
What this experience has taught me is this: When women remember who we are, reconnect to our wildness, and honour our rhythms, it changes everything. Not just for us, but for our children, our communities, and the generations yet to come.
This is the legacy I'm here to nurture.
Rowanricht grew from my love of creativity, my longing for slowness, and my call to guide others back to the land.
This isn't just a brand. It's a living reclamation.
Because when we return to the land, to craft, to ritual, and to ancestral knowing… We don't just heal. We remember. And that remembrance ripples outward — to our families, our communities, and the world.
At Rowanricht, there are many ways to step into that ripple
Come craft with me in person: dye, weave, and gather in rhythm with the turning seasons.
